Just having some left over spag bolg ( lunch time here ) midday.

Loved Auckland, and there is a nice little restaurant called "Tony's cafe"....:>))
We drove up to Paihia,( Great Seafood restaurant there ) and caught boat across to Russell.
Then came back and drove down to Rotarua, then back around through Hamilton to Auckland

Havent been to the South Island as yet, and something we should do ( so i am told ). Brother in law moved to Palmerston North as a kid,( 1950s ) before moving to Oz, and marrying my baby sis. A great bloke and my best mate......unfortunatley he died in 1993.

Cheers. Tony...:>))

Tony: My younger son-in-law was born in Greymouth. My daughter met him in London and they got married there and now they live here in Wellington.

North of Auckland very dry - have not had decent rain in ages and some of our native trees are suffering because of this.

Just had a friend from America over here - took her out for a drive to a place called Awhitu - where the wreck of the Orpheus took place in 1863. She was marvelling at how green everything was - it was more a very brownish green - not the green we like at all.

And yeah I fell off my front door mat and broke a bone in my foot. All okay now and door mat has done the time warp and taken a step to the left where it should have been in the first place.

I have seen you waxing lyrical on another thread somewhere Tony.

Yes Melbourne does tend to get rather cold from now through to Sept.

G'day Perse....:>))

Read somewhere on here ( GR ) that you had some kind of miss-hap a way back.
Hope your o'k now.

N.Z is gods own, and a more scenic place would be hard to find. Holidayed there a few times ( as most Aussie's do )....Brother in law was born in Greymouth ( South Island )

Well...i can write serious poems ( if i haffta..lol ) but prefer not to. Write many limericks, and somewhere on GR archives ( in cyber space) i have added a few fun limericks.

I should be at work, but as i am a self employed contractor...i have given meself the day off ( sickie )....:>))

*wonder if il'e get sick pay*..lol
Dont think so ,somehow..:>((

Have a great day to all under the Southern cross.

Tony...:>)) * in a chilly Melbourne city*

That's right I'm on first base and then the rest of you trail along behind.

Think it is the only time apart from Geometry at High School that I achieve a first.

~~~~~~~~~~ to all you stragglers.
You going to the gym yet Liz?
Loved your poetical tribute to Susan (numero ono etc) Tony
It is Susanwithnumbers!
Sometimes I can get access during our afternoon or evening, but it is not always possible.
WA is now seven hours ahead of the UK but we are now two hours behind the Eastern States, and Persey in NZ is nother hour or so ahead of them.
It makes it very difficult, but it does mean that I can have a front seat at some of the more 'interesting' threads :0))
Unless Hayley hasn't gone to bed I expect you may have to wait until the morning for an answer.....I was wondering too...Isn't the time difference annoying sometimes lol
Allan Report 13 Apr 2010 22:30
Haley,
Again, sorry for the late response. Tis now morning here (5.30 am)
I spent my childhood in Rusholme, and then Longsight.
In my late teens we moved to Eccles...I know that Eccles isn't Manchester but it is ,or was, included in the Conurbation.
Susan numbers, Susan numbers, they have named you
You just put the biggest smile upon me dial
Is it only 'cause ,you have numbers, they have blamed you
For that Susan with numbers strangeness in your smile?
You did try to add a poem, Susan with numbers?
Or is this your way to make my morning start?
Many threads have been seen on my puter
They just lie there, and they die there
But your woz warm, yours woz real, Susan with numbers?
For your poem, is just a lovely work of art?
