G'day Perse....:>))

Read somewhere on here ( GR ) that you had some kind of miss-hap a way back.
Hope your o'k now.

N.Z is gods own, and a more scenic place would be hard to find. Holidayed there a few times ( as most Aussie's do )....Brother in law was born in Greymouth ( South Island )

Well...i can write serious poems ( if i haffta..lol ) but prefer not to. Write many limericks, and somewhere on GR archives ( in cyber space) i have added a few fun limericks.

I should be at work, but as i am a self employed contractor...i have given meself the day off ( sickie )....:>))

*wonder if il'e get sick pay*..lol
Dont think so ,somehow..:>((

Have a great day to all under the Southern cross.

Tony...:>)) * in a chilly Melbourne city*

Tony: My younger son-in-law was born in Greymouth. My daughter met him in London and they got married there and now they live here in Wellington.

North of Auckland very dry - have not had decent rain in ages and some of our native trees are suffering because of this.

Just had a friend from America over here - took her out for a drive to a place called Awhitu - where the wreck of the Orpheus took place in 1863. She was marvelling at how green everything was - it was more a very brownish green - not the green we like at all.

And yeah I fell off my front door mat and broke a bone in my foot. All okay now and door mat has done the time warp and taken a step to the left where it should have been in the first place.

I have seen you waxing lyrical on another thread somewhere Tony.

Yes Melbourne does tend to get rather cold from now through to Sept.

Just having some left over spag bolg ( lunch time here ) midday.

Loved Auckland, and there is a nice little restaurant called "Tony's cafe"....:>))
We drove up to Paihia,( Great Seafood restaurant there ) and caught boat across to Russell.
Then came back and drove down to Rotarua, then back around through Hamilton to Auckland

Havent been to the South Island as yet, and something we should do ( so i am told ). Brother in law moved to Palmerston North as a kid,( 1950s ) before moving to Oz, and marrying my baby sis. A great bloke and my best mate......unfortunatley he died in 1993.

Cheers. Tony...:>))
