Steve saw the best in people, and he brought out the best in them.

I first got chatting with Steve on GR. He was always funny and helpful. I mainly chatted with him on msn and FB about our doggies, he always gave me loads of good advice etc. He also nearly talked me into buying one of his pups!!....

He knew that I wanted a painting done of my then 2 dog's, my beloved Tanisha (RIP) and Zeus and he offered to do one for me. He said I needed to email a photo to him of the dogs at 300dpi.......crikes I said how the heck do I manage that?? Don't worry he said, when your ready let me know and will talk you through it. I offered to pay but he insisted that he never charged his friends, that was the big hearted guy he was.

He'll be up there painting portraits and all sorts and taking care of all the doggies.

On GR he was always Jolly and laughing as he was elsewhere too. He will be greatly missed.

RIP Steve.

His A - Z thread, in which many became friends in "cyber world" and in the "real world", when we reached z then he changed the topic, but then he left the site for a while and so could not change the topic when he returned; and the f ann y club thread.

Both of those - we had such fun, and we supported one another, we laughed and we cried together.

Him and his dogs and his tales of Crufts
I'll remember Steve best from off here for letting me moan at him about my condition so my lot didnt have to put up with my moaning.Fun 3 way convo with Jax on MSN hence my name of BB (Big Boy) for him. and loads of advice when i was buying my lappy, and then theres the time he sent me a good prize for school raffle and wouldnt even let me reimbure him the postage.

A true gent willing to help anyone.

After been off line for the last few months I am absolutely devestated by the sad news.

Not much I can say about Steve, that has not already been said...He was a kind and caring man who always held out a helping hand to those that needed one.

He helped me to find a bulldog elsewhere, for my OH for his 60th birthday when I could not afford the prices that the breeders in the UK were asking.

A kind soul that will be remembered by many.

R.I.P. Steve...Smile down on us from time to time....

Have just been reading messages from him and it is so hard to take in the news.
And looking at threads, remember this, when he returned to the site? -

He just always seemed to be around with a kind word, help for anybody. And even if he wasn't on the boards at the time, if you put up a PC panic thread he would appear, and sort it without making you feel stupid. A lovely man. I had not realised he wasn't around until a few weeks ago when i had a PC query and he wasn't there. I am ashamed that I didn't put up a where is he thread and I had not realised he was ill. He is going to be much missed.
