Not been to Hounslow since...about 1980 I think Heather, and then only to visit 'auntie' so not a place I know ...but will stop at Chiswick and go round the churchyard there, clutching the grave numbers and old photos :)

Anyone in London looking for a good hairdresser ? if you really want to feel 'pampered' go to Colournation in Endell st near Covent Garden and ask for 'Sebastien'... he coloured and then washed my hair himself...with a head massage that was over and above the call of duty lol.... not cheap but worth every penny ;) (and seriously they are all good there from what I saw of other customers :) )

Will do it next time Mo :)) I will get myself organised better and book the YHA in town rather than outside so don't spend so much time getting back and forth...I want to go to Hounslow library where some of the Chiswick records are kept and look for info on my Fishlock family...

Moving soon ,but after that will book another week hopefully :)

Hello :-)

I have watermen and a barge builder in my family from Rotherhithe.

Rambling Report 7 May 2009 22:01

Hi Sue, what prompted me to say that was a rally in Trafalgar sq that we watched.. it was to support an 'amnesty' for the immigrants that have been here for over 6 years, living ,working, and paying tax...but not 'legal' . It is a topic that will divide opinion big time I think lol..but will put a thread up on it when I get back :))

Waving back to you Uggers ~~~~lol

Colin, think that's always the case really, you are so busy living and working in a place you don't see it the same way :)
