there is nothing like being at sea on a warship at night - no upper deck lights other than navigation so no light polution...There are hundreds of stars visible in the sky and in the South China Sea the water glows a shade of green with the millions of tiny luminous sea creatures -so peaceful and beautiful |

I was born and bred in a village next to the sea. It holds special memories for me whenever I go back home. The storms I have seen have been exhilariting and wild the calmness like a silk sheet to relax in. |

I REALLY REALLY miss the sea.I grew up a few minutes walk from the beach and spent many of my childhood years down there.I loved it in the summer ,but also loved the big waves in winter storms. The smell and taste of the air .The seagulls crying, and scrabbling around in the rock pools not realising that the tide was coming in,and having to run . |

Jax the strongest swimmer would lose against a storm, but at least you can stay afloat, easier to do if you are not frightened of water. |
