I've tried not to but I'm intrigued.

Why are you having rehearsals for Grease?

Aren't you just going to c and P your *lines* anyhow?

Or am I being thick and missing something.

From what I can gather the *performers* have been given their *lines* on one thread and they are now practising copying and pasting those lines onto a rehearsal thread ready for the big day?
