Have been listening to Susan Boyle this afternoon whilst I cooked a roast dinner and more, feeling so serene and happy. xxx

Think you summed it up in one, so eloquently ... such a surprise, fabulous. Totally agree, so admire her courage ... not sure, as much as I adore acting and more, that I could stand in front of Simon Cowell, the other judges and such a huge audience so truly relaxed. xxx

Thank you Claire, another young man with talent, a wonderful voice. For me, I so adore the voice of Katherine Jenkins, Placido Domingo I cannot stop listening to her, think I am becoming addicted to the voice of Susan Boyle, tis making me shiver and tingle yet again as I sit here listening to.

Am going to have her on as I move around, doing things too.

What the judges faces

Isn't it a brilliant show Mau. I have a music thread, so many songs on there from it, from others too, + different types of music.

Tis where I have made so many new friends, all with a passion for musicals, opera, music of different genres.

I shall put Susan Boyle on there when I return, she truly deserves to be there. o)))

Thanks for that, what a wonderful voice. I was annoyed with myself because I'd had the TV on and was reading the paper and half listening to BGT, but what i had seen was mostly rubbish so i turned the TV off. She would have been the next act and I missed her!! So thank you for giving me the opportunity to watch it, I hope she goes right through now, What a lovely voice.

I think I read in the paper that she used to sing in a choir and she lived with her mother. After her Mother died she lost the heart to sing and this was the first time she had sung again.

Just watched the Ytube clip Shimms , and she is great. I love "Les Mis." fantastic show!

it was worth the watch just to see the smug looks of the judges and the audience change to joy (i hate to see folk made a mockery of) and this is one of the reasons I don't tune in to this type of show.

I hadn't seen the programme but was told about her beautiful voice. Paul Potts gave everyone the same reaction when he started to sing "Nessun Dorma"
