Yes you do have to boil them for longer........it's a bit hit and miss trying to get the perfect dippy egg but worth the effort if you can get it right . |

I thought I saw one Helen..........but I wasn't 100% sure as my chickens lay eggs with really orangey yolks.......maybe it doesn't stand out so much? lol. |

The yolks are a deep yellow Muffy and the " white " is really clear, can't say i'de noticed the blood spot thing in one . |

duck eggs and goose eggs are good in cakes used to work with someoe who used to have ducks and geese and used to give some to hubby so I could make nice yellow sponges |
