I have been here for nigh on 3yrs now Aug "2006" It at the time was a life line to me when I 1st joined, hubby worked each night and me dad had just died. Yes there was bickerings etc ( well there was the major move of FTF well done Pippa )

BUT there was never this snide unsure bit, and yes it does come from name changing. Mel people did it before you but I guess you have the Oscar for it.

I can remember it being this snide at times unfortunately. It seems to come in waves and settle down from time to time.

People will still change their names - they'll just get a new membership. I've seen it done before.

well you would be suprised I actually agree I am on other sites that permit me only one board name and I have to stick to it on here GR let me change as often as me pants but I think they enjoy seeing me do it ~ I dont think name changin as owt to do with the rows ~ got the blame for yesterdays shananigans n I was miles away then cos it werent me I hear I was guilty by assosciation! The simple fact is Im a serial name changer its part of me if GR change their policy believe me the trouble will continue!!

Artemis was a hunter, warrior recently I aquired this name as I it seemed very appropriate to the climate ~ n she could kick butt big time!

But you can stick to one name on other sites where you're not allowed to change your name and it's not a part of you? So why does it have to be a part of you on here ? That's what I don't get.x

Daisy is no friend of mine she hurt me badly once I have tried to make ammends but she posted something on Mildreds thread where she implies she is me ~thanx Daisy ~ NOT! she aint skinny herself!

Mel you change your name 10 times more than others......that's why you are getting the brunt of it.

Not only that you put up threads discussing what your next one is going to be then you go onto a different thread taking the pee and saying you agree there should be no name changes.

I think people should be allowed to change their names at the start if they need to.

I was pretty wet behind the ears on the www when I joined here and I used my real name for a while........DOH

So I can understand it for that sort of thing.

Maybe one natural name change allowed then go through GR for any others. I can understand that would cost money to implement though so it's doubtful it will ever happen.

I guess we're stuck with it tbh x
