I know ...

I'm the same, norti about my thyroid blood tests, ooh, I am typing with my eyes closed, trying not to think about them. I have been told (ordered!) to go, still trying to pluck up the courage as I cannot bear injections and am flat veined and they hurt me and, and and ...

Think we need a party :))

Need cheering up

Morning Ray

Glad you have got through the night, and the machine is gone, now you must do what you are told and keep taking the tablets, and cut down on all fatty foods and try to get some exercise and do all the right things for a change and with the tablets you will start to feel better soon.

My hubby had a quadruple bypass last year Ray, only 53 and although he didn't have a heart attack, he was having pains when he overdid it, so it was a bit of a shock, he's fine now and well healed up and we are trying to have a better lifestyle but it's not easy changing habits and I'd like to say we are both 100% fit, but I'd be lying, but we are determined to try better now the weather is so much nicer.

I have made him cut out the floozies though...lol

Hi Barbara

My uncle who died aged 55,was waiting on the NHS list for a
triple bypass,he died a month before the operation,
he was not overweight never smoked and was apparently fit
(He played semi proffesional football in the 60s)
was on Arsenals books,,,,even though he supported Spurs lol
It was a shock when he died

My hubby has never been that sort of super fit ray but was in the RAF for twenty years and we were running a business which was quite energetic, some people are more prone to this than others.
I have a brother who has scared us for years with his 180/110 blood pressure but he refuses to change his lifestyle and is approaching 60 and has had the problem about 7 or 8 years so who's to say...my hubby found the tablets heped but had to give in to the op in the end and is glad he did now.
