I remember when my nan used to use that. She wrote them saying how smooth her face was and she swore it was down to ponds and they sent her a huge free Jar. Gosh shes been gone almost 20 years now so that was a long time ago..... she then tried it with Oil of Ulay lol. |

hi posie, ponds cold cream was the only cream my nan ever used , even in her late 70s she had a lovely skin(she was a farmers wife , out in all weathers ) she just rubbed some in every morning. iris |

Wasnt there a thread ooh a long time ago on face creams? I think something from Lydls or aldi was limited in stock cos it won loads of awards and only cost a couple of quid? My nan used Ponds and had lovely skin - I wont stray from my Clinique though - too scared to change brands in case I grow old overnight lol. |

I didn't know there was still Pond's.There used to be two sorts as I recall,cold cream and vanishing cream.Now there's a concept to conjure with. |
