I can't get hold of Jill, I don't know if her PC is playing up or if she is once again unable to get into GR. However, I don't think her vote would make a difference to the resulting 2 books, it might put one in front of the other that is all. So I am going to go ahead and publish the result.

Red Leaves by Paullina Simons
The River Knows - Amanda Quick
Shadows of the Workhouse by Jennifer Worth. 1 1 1
The Birthing House by Christopher Ransom 1 1 1
The House of Lanyon by Valerie Anand
The Loop by Nicholas Evans 1
Killing the Shadows by Val Mc Dermid
Whispers in the Sand by Barbara Erskine 1
The Outcast by Sadie Jones
Paying for it by Tony Black
Family Ties by Wendy Richardson 1
Grandmother's Footsteps by Carol Smith 1

so the two books to read this time are

Shadows of the Workhouse
And
The Birthing House with three votes each.

Books to be reviewed on 4 April which will also be the date for the next lot of suggestions.

Please, please make a note of the date.

Both books are available in Tesco and probably on Amazon.

Michelle if you are unable to get either of the books maybe you could choose from
The Loop
Whispers in the sand
Family ties
Grandmother's footsteps

And read and review that one.

The local library has The Birthing House so I will put a request in for that as someone has it out at the moment.

Have reserved The Birthing House, hopefully it comes back into the library before I go on my weeks holiday at end of the month. Shadows of the Workhouse is to new here for me to get hold of a copy on the interloan library system. So I will just be reading The Birthing House for this month.

I have made it on and able to order both books to get here in time to read.
Can get on via the email from Genes about PMs to be read so fingers crossed I can use that route rather than Ann having to keep emailing me.
Ann, thanks for keeping me up to date w<ith whats going on with book choices.
