Only here for a few days (unexpectedly) so no time to meet anyone sadly :( but having a really lovely time , though my feet hurt from all the pavement bashing!

Went to see 'Joseph' on Fri' Gareth Gates, absolutely brilliant and my son who had not been to the theatre before is now 'hooked' lol... went to see The Lion King this afternoon...very clever, spectacular costumes ...but the music was a bit patchy really, worth seeing though :).
Have been up the river and on the Eye and also did a bit of FT research at the Guildhall...well I had to didn't I?! my ancestors worked on the Thames ,

I love London! :)

Hi Hoobity, I feel really at home and seem to know my way around by 'instinct' lol, just as well because I keep being stopped and asked for directions so I must look as if I belong lol

Hi Lynda , I love it here, really do, just love the mix of people and buildings, the juxtoposition of old and new, the history and the vibrancy...and being able to go to the theatre again has been wonderful, I could go every night lol...it's in the blood :)

Glad you are having a good time Rose, we went about 2001 I think it was to see a u2 concert, we were in the swanky end lol. Harrods was shut on a Suday, can you believe that, so we went to Harvey Nicks, couldn't even afford a carrier bag, lol

Hoobity, not shopping! lol...spent a fortune on the theatre tickets which were 'essential ' lol , but other than that haven't spent too much , oh and I did buy a handbag because the catch had broken off ....but it was half price in a closing down sale so not bad at all :)

Hi Joy :)

It is essential in London to treat oneself Rose, even if it means having to buy a handbag, hope it matched your shoes though.

I've been to London twice and it is such an exciting city. Londoners are special people - I know because my father in law was one and he was such a character. No matter where they live they are always Londoners. Glad you are having a wondeful time, Rose.
