I have had many a nice time in `Still and West` as my daughter and her family live in Southsea. Hope that you enjoy living in Portsmouth, I love to visit there and cannot wait till I go again. xxxxx

The people of Pompey are brilliant too.No side to them, they will tell you anything.

If they say 'my babe' you are in Pompey buy if they call you'my lover' you have wandered into Southampton.

Hi Karen,
Grew up near Prestatyn, son went to Portsmouth uni. Trust me, Portsmouth and Prestatyn are at opposite ends of the shopping spectrum!

Welcome to Hampshire, I emigrated 32 years ago from Essex, and can honestly say, have been SO happy in this area.

I live just outside Southampton, and both Gun Wharf Quays, Portsmouth, and West Quays Southampton, are good shopping centres.

All the best Mo

The shops in Portsmouth are a lot better than the excuse of a high street we have in Winchester - beautiful though the city is!!

You must go to the 'Still & West' in Old Portsmouth - not changed much since I lived in Southsea over 30 years ago.

I convalesced at my sister’s house in Portsmouth last year, lovely walks round the shops.
