Mine was a Mk III Cortina 2.0 E. Handled well, sports gear box & twin carbs. Plenty of rust but I thought it was great.

Oh my word, Ancient E Spinx

We had a Ford Capri. no idea what ... it was cream with a 'vinyl' roof ... OH's not here so I can't ask him. Twas nice though.

My favourite was our Triumph 2000, a gorgeous deep Navy Blue, automatic.

The one I've got .........Landrover Freelander.........wanted one since they came out new and managed to finally get one in my price range about a year and a half ago. Still love driving it...........especially in this weather !!!

Second fav was my old Peugeot 306 turbo diesel.........went like the clappers.....and never cost me a penny in repairs in the 3 yrs I had it.

In the 60s we had a black MG Magnette, a super solid low slung car with big chrome bumpers and an engine that roared. Loved it. wouldn't like to drive it now though, no power steering and quite a heavy car.

We too had a Triumph 200, maroon, nice car and several Rovers, liked them all but i didn't drive them they were oH's, lovely to travel in. My favourite of OH's though was a white mercedes (like the wedding cars) automatic..

I had an Opel Ascona while I was still working.
I really liked that car, although my daughter
always said it was like driving a tank!!

Not the best, but the most enjoyable, bought it in 1970 after I passed my car test.....
was a '65,1500 Wolseley, red n white livery, Farina body,(similar to the Riley 1.5)
Paid £35 for it, our very first car, and we went miles n miles in it, our family were very young at the time.......

think the best, after the Wolseley, ,for its era, was a 1600 Singer vogue.......all that real wood trim......twin headlights.......wish I still had it
