I wish I cud get to work lol but am stuck ere wit no-one but mesen as company *scary*

Well ...

My sisters are coming ...

Tis a long story, was meant to be a surprise yet bless, my baby sis having been begged to tell me when, let it 'slip' tis Saturday.
I of course, know nothing lol!

They are going to do my hair, 'thread' my eyebrows ..., manicure my nails ...

It will be like being in a beauty salon and then ...

They are going to order a take-away, we're going to put our feet up, chill and ohhhh,

I can't believe they'd do this for me, am so so happy!

that sounds lovely Shimms, have a great time, me I'm going to pick out the wood for my lounge floor and then empty the lounge of all my bits and pieces and then rip up the old carpet and move the furniture, take down the curtains, re-wallpaper the one wall over the fireplace.........no contest really, pampered or Kn.......d

I have family in SA, always smile at this memory ...

As a teenager they came over to England, saw snow and the excitement ... coats, hats, gloves on and out in it, jumping around, building snowmen and more whilst we smiled gently lol!

Its frozen rain, drops as though icing sugar building up higher and higher. Tis very soft, you can mould it to create snowmen and more yet when it freezes it is as if someone has created an ice skating rink.

Sometimes, if it has rained or thawed with the heat of the sun, it's like slush ... melted ice, think of a slush puppy only not delicious ... wet, 'muddy grey' and yukky!

Snow is lovely when you're a child and blooming awful has you get older, it turns to slush as Shimms says and if the ground freezes overnight again, it's treacherous. But so pretty to look at Wales and Scotland and other parts of England but we haven't got any here, NW.
