Hi Penny yes i believe it is going to get worse later. We all warm and cosy here, got both fires on the go. Zeus is worn out from his walk in the snow this morning....

it's still snowing here, thought it had stopped but a bit more coming down...

Hi Whirls & all, snowing steady here in the midlands melted a bit earlier but supposed to get worse tonight.I hope you are all nice and warm & snug xx Oops twas me that deleted........posted same one twice!! Blame it on the weather he he.

they gritted the a21 and the b road that leads upto where i turn off to get to my house, but our back roads here are not gritted at all, and we're on a slight hill too...

still snowing and the temperature has plummeted...

Very Civilised area here they grit the roads when they are bad,Mind, I think its a first.**M**.

Hi Helen glad you got some, have fun, I shall go back out again in it later. Merlin you was brave to venture out. OH got onto the A21 ok to go & get more coal, but the small road outside ours is pretty bad...think you're in the right place now tho....

Hasn't stopped all day here in Maidstone - local radio keep saying they expect upto 10 inches with the worst coming later today/tonight .....................

Still snowing here Whirley, quite heavy, no prolems with driving though,been over to Eastbourne then back to Hastings then Home.pretty easy going,few Idiots skidding etc,buts thats because they cant drive properly in this weather.enjoy your Snow fights, Me I,m indoors now by a lovely Coal Fire,going to make some toast later, **M**.

Betty, my sister would love some, thanks...I think most of the south east has come to a grinding halt, we are rubbish are we not in this country when we get a bit of snow, mindyou, we have had a lot....

OH went out, they haven't gritted the roads, going back out now with my son to take Cass to nearby woods for a walk.

I was meant to be driving to March (in the fens) this afternoon for a meeting but have decided to give it a miss as the forecast for this afternoon and early evening is so bad.
Oh well its a nice oppourtuntiy to be on Genes during the day!!!

afternoon Shimms and Julia, we've had a good 4 to 5 inches so far and snowing heavy now....just took my dog Zeus out for a quick snowball fight, he loves it...

It started snowing here in Essex yesterday, stopped then started again. Has been snowing all morning, still is ... everywhere is white.

Norti Cass,my son's dog raced around for over one hour at midnight ... couldn't get him in, bless him! :)

here is south cambridgeshire its been snowing pretty steadily all morning-reckon we've got about 4 inches so far!!

Hi Betty, my sister is in Northern Ireland and she's not had a flake and is well upset:)

Very bad snow here on the east coast of Ireland to-day. Snowing since midnight last night , still falling but not as bad.
