Thought I was seeing things when I pulled the curtains earlier, lol.

Well Whirls you wanted some snow now you got it!!!! You will have to get the sledge out later!! We got it here too, not as bad as yours but snowing quite heavy at the mo.

I've only ventured out to the garage so far and that was just to get the sledges out. Dog looks MIGHTY confused, let him out earlier and caught him with his nose stuck in a bucket, called out to him to come inside, he looked so sweet with his face covered in snow, bless him.

There's all this talk of "school's never shutting in my day..." but I certainly remember it myself. Even though I'm from a fairly big town, all the buses used to have to come in from the sticks, as we were the only Catholic middle and upper schools for 30 miles, so if they didn't make it in - neither did we!

I can't see what harm a day off for kids to mess about in the snow is really, and like I said elsewhere, I get the day off too as I work in a school!

Heidi, yeh what harm is a day off gonna do, some kids have never experienced alot of snow so let em enjoy it I say....

Took me longer to retrieve the car from the snow than it did to get to work lol


Just waiting for boss to send us home - he reckons we will finish early ................... we have had very steady snowfall since 9am and it's getting heavier by the minute.

and here in Cardiff we have nothing, absolutely no snow at all!!!!

Very bad snow here on the east coast of Ireland to-day. Snowing since midnight last night , still falling but not as bad.
