well it was quite reasoned Sue lol

I had added earlier re name query that If I were KH would use the name 'Andy' with perhaps an addition ...and that I use my real name Rose plus Rambling as it describes both my writing style lol, and my habit of being a little bit 'wild and random' in some ways lol.

then I added that it was a shame that he was perhaps being judged on his wife's actions , that Mel had upset many both on and off the board with her 'to hell and damnation' attitude to those who disagreed with her , her seeming inability to apologise and mean it etc... , but that if Andy continued to post , and was moderate , and stuck to one name that his friends could recognise ( and those who wished to could avoid) I was sure he would be accepted on his own merits.....

words to that effect anyway :)

yes Mel, Angie did say that on KHs thread..but the trouble is he is getting the blame for your actions! It is difficult I am sure for him to post here and be accepted when in the past you have popped in using his account... just like it would confuse people if I posted in my partners name on here...were he on here...

you really have to let him post and not intervene , and KH has to be aware that if he is friendly on here and doesn't leap to your defence he might make friends...on hs own merits as I said.

As it is , it was your last bit of blogging , now deleted, being very un- christian to people who in no way deserved it that has soured the opinion of even people who once defended you! Sorry but that's how it is.

I know Mel, that if your apologies had been sincere and not followed up by more aggression that you might have stood a chance of being , if not welcomed here, then at least tolerated... sorry to be harsh but its true...if one is sorry one has to SAY it and ACT it , not just say it and do the same the next day.... however ,it is a shame for your OH , you are very lucky that he thinks so much of you that he will defend you even when you are in the wrong... perhaps it is time to cut your losses, keep a low profile, just read and reflect, and use the site for your tree ? in the end no one can stop you posting, but equally they don't have to reply or accept you...

oh come on Mel ! naming a person battling cancer as nominee for 'attention seeker' award ..? ! consigning people to 'Hell' because they don't want your religious opinions force fed into them ? ...is that really your idea of not doing 'owt wrong' ?
No one is liked by everyone, all the time...but if as many people had 'issues' with me as they do with you ...then I would take a good hard look at myself first of all ...not go on about being "a sinner and God will forgive me "

We may all be sinners, me as much if not more than the next...but even so surely it is better to try and change than to hurt and be hurt in return like this?
