We buy a certain choc spread with hazelnuts the small size comes in the form of a small glass with a plastic lid.
You use the spread wash the glass and use it after for drinking, it makes a really nice glass.

Now surely this is the ultimate in recycling, no energy spent in melting the glass to make it into something else.

I think this could be expanded to cover loads of things, ie coffee in really nice jars that you would willing reuse for store because they looked good.

what do you think

~~ waves to Hayley

You could decoupage them:

Choose something you like, e.g. roses

Cut them out of magazines or similar

Mix PVA glue with some water, stick them over, let them dry.

Put another coat of the mixture over the top ..

You may have a lovely vase, pen holder .. I do things like this, they do look nice.

Another one which children enjoy is to make the same mixture of PVA/water

Use pretty pasta shapes to cover the jar

When dry, cover them with another coat of PVA/water + perhaps some children's paints mixed in.

Oooh, does look lovely. :)

Luvin the hugs little sis (((((((((((big hug))))))))))))))) ...

Just let your imagination flow, really helps de-stress me too ..

Bet your children would enjoy it, give you peace and quiet for a while.

Tip of the day

They use PVA glue in schools, if it gets on your childrens clothes, put them in the freezer then it will peel off.

Warning!

Do not do what I did the first time ... ohhhhhhh, can't believe I'm sharing this :))

Found what I thought was a rather dead looking flat grey fish, threw it out. Later realized 'the fish' was a pair of my son's school trousers I'd put in and forgotten!

Dippy or what?! Noooooooooo ... don't answer that one!

Inside she put spice herbs sweets coins ....
