Well done Jean, you must be so delighted. I'm just about to call FiL to tell him I've found his Granny

Mazzy, she never had any interest in the past although she's completely living in it now.

Diana... so pleased for you. It gives you a real buzz doesn't it.

As you already know at one time I never thought I'd make this census and I can only think that the Government relented and released early cos I am so important. (*said tongue in cheek of course*) lolol.

Don't worry SueMaid, we will soon be back to moaning...I have found something already:-)))

Unlike the other census' each household is on a separate page, so if inlaws/relatives are living in the same house but as a separate family in other rooms, they will be on another page that will have to be paid for.....but for the time being am still over the moon to have at least solved a few mysteries even if they have started off a few more.....there you go....feel better now? :-)))

One good thing is that they have how long married and how many children still alive as well as deceased.

Well - I've been in on that link that someone posted yesterday and have found my trollope of a gr grandmother living with her fancy man (I don't think they ever married). I would dearly love to download the image but am a bit wary as although I've asked to be kept informed on the FMP website I'm not registered with them and I think I might be opening a can of worms if I do try and download. What do you think? I don't want to get anyone into trouble and if they've not sent me the invite they will wonder how I knew how to find the info ...

Worried of Whitstable.

If the worst comes to the worst I will wait until it's official but ... it's so tempting!

Worried of Whitstable.... They care not love... all they want is your money (:

I didn't have an invite either.... I just gatecrashed and I've downloaded a lot :)

Best of luck.

Jean x.

Edit.... you will have to register first on the Find My Past Site for the 1911 census.

Thanks Jean & Maz for the link .
Just splashed out £24.95 so can download actual images and transcripts. Found my Mum and dads families now and Mum wasnt living in Charlton SE as i thought the family were. They must haved moved after 1911 cos Uncle Alf born 1912 was born In Charlton SE london.
Thought I had found German Grt grandad who was living with DIL in 1907 when the grt gran died, found the DIL but the grandad ain't with her and he isnt showing so its back to the drawing board again on him Have already searched for his death right up to 1940 so am wondering if he went back to Germany.
am finding it easier to do blanket searches on the surname finds more results as not being sure where the families were doesn't find them if you are too specific.

I,m really chuffed now, guess what i will doing for the rest of the day!!!

Big MWAH for Jean
