Had a letter from the House of Commons today from my MP in reply to my email. He has written to the Rt Hon Alan Johnson MP (minister for health) on my behalf asking for a statement from him on providing screening for SADS free of charge for every school child.

At least I got a response, better than nothing.
You could do the same. Will let you know if I hear any more from him.

And well done to John Trickett, MP for Hemsworth for at least caring.

Just been trying to persuade my son to write to his MP. Have realised that his local MP is Alan Johnson, the minister for health. Could be useful.

Please write to your local MP.

Another Saturday, and as like many Saturdays before I remember with heartache how my precious Son was taken from me by this Silent Killer.
As I ponder on the thought how those who have lost their special child in the last seven days, at least twelve other families are suffering the unbelievable pain that I have. We can make a difference, we can lower that number.
The only gift I can give my Son this Christmas, apart from my love, is a floral tribute, YOU can give others a lot more, the gift of life, please help them. It could be one of yours next, urge the government to make testing available to ALL young people. XX..
