Thank you for all your input. I have not had anything like this before as hotmail usually Junks it or filters them.

What worried me more than anything is the size of the attachments. At a guess I would say they had some nasties lurking in the background.

I have block this person and all the addresses that came with these emails.

I think round Robins are a pain.......I have had to tell my children not to do it too......lucky for other people that I am not malicious.....I have been sent emails forwarded which have numerous peoples email addy's.....some-one put up a thread the other month on how to make sure it doesn't happen. I haven't given my email addy to many people so any I don't recognise get deleted immediately no matter what the heading.

Snowy, you only need one contact to pass on a joke that you have sent them without deleting your e mail address.

Us humans are creatures of habit. A lot of people use the same name for their Hotmail accounts as their Username on here. (And I bet a lot of you use the same password for most of the login webites)
So if I was to make a note of the usernames on here then send an email to [email protected] I imagine there would be quite a high hit rate !

Teddys girl and Snowy. are you saying that absolutely no member of GR knows your private e mail address then?

Sue

Sue Report 15 Nov 2008 12:32

My view and it's not worth much :-((

GR could not afford to pass on private info, the damage to their credibility that would be done, if proved, would be irrecoverable.

I would suggest that it would have to be someone with an axe to grind who has passed on info from previous contact.
