:-) @ Daff. Thanks ((((hugs)))) they're needed.

I wish I had a pause button so that I could catch up with myself. I have uni work to do that I just can't concentrate on. This stuff isn't important, but I need to get it out of the way because next weeks stuff IS. The subject boggles my brain at the best of times.

Thanks :-)

Positive thoughts and prayers for your dad, Liz.

Now what about you? *waggles finger* you go and put your feet up, watch a dvd or read a book.... do something to chill out, and then get yourself a good night's sleep, do you hear??????

(((((((hugs))))))) for you

Well, he's still in there, they've still not heard back on the ultrasound results (they don't hurry, do they?!). They moved him up to the ward while I was there this afternoon. His BP is low (for him) but not drastically so, so the pharmacist has reduced his meds for it. He's also on stronger pain killers and antibiotics. He keeps feeling sick and has been so a couple of times so is now on anti-emetics.

It's still a waiting game and I'm exhausted.

Thank you all for your well wishes.
Liz

Thanks, Daff and Cazzles ~~~~~~~~

They had him on MAU all night, he got hardly any sleep and then today they had the fire officer round doing drills. I know they're necessary but it was some what ridiculous. No wonder people get sicker in hospital.

Hi guys,

Well, they ruled out his heart and the doc said that while he does have some infection on his chest it's not pneumonia. When we left this afternoon they were doing a scan of his liver.

Mum and my brother are there now, so hopefully we'll find something out soon.

Mum hardly slept last night, she tends to be a bit overdramatic at the best of times but this just sets her brain into a whirlwind of worst case scenarios.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts.

hI Liz, I am sorry to hear about your Dad and hope he feels lots better soon. It's only natural you should be worried but he is in the best place to be cared for overnight, much less worrying for your Mum than having him home and breathless and her getting anxious. Hopefully your Mum will get some sleep ready to visit him and do anything necessary tomorrow/today.
You take care of yourself.

I must book my flu jab, thanks for reminding me.

Thank you all so much. I guess what goes around. I've given them enough worry in the past so I suppose it's only right he gets his own back LOL
