Thanks.....
And then there were four :-((

Dylan was old, and i think the change in the weather played a big part..
I've gone from having over thirty - to having only four...I cannot (due to circumstances) take any more at the moment, it's maybe Gods way of helping me out while times are hard...I know they'll be waiting happily for me...

Oh Lou, I am sorry. Maybe Dylan missed J.C. too much or knew how lovely it was over Rainbow Bridge, even tho you give your pets a wonderful life, maybe the temptation was too much.
You will see them again when it is time and they will be hopping about like young bunnies again.

I didn't want to post another thread, seems the only time i post is when i loose one of my very special friends these days.
It's onyl a couple of weeks since i lost one of my cats Jazzy, then poor old J.C left me...Now, sadly this morning, little Dylan, my wonderful bunny, travelled to the rainbow bridge also....
To loose another so soon is soul destroying...To say i'm gutted is an understatement....
Sleep sweet my beautiful babes..See you at the bridge..

Sticky buns, Lou..... it still hurts when I think of all of my beautiful *children* waiting on Rainbow Bridge.... They each will always fill a little space in my heart, as do all yours, I know.

Love

It was only an animal...they will say
but they dont understand
our pets are loved members of the family
they are uncomplaining and faithful
devoted in their love of you
When they leave - they leave a void
a gaping wound of raw grief!

I send you my deepest condolances on the loss of your beloved companion

Oh, I am so sorry - to all that have "lost" their pets who were part of their family.

I'll post on your site later, Lou.

My Tommy cat died on the bed on Christmas Eve. He had gone blind and was not dealing with it very well at all.
The vet said he had very high blood pressure which had detached his retinas but I think there may have been some sort of brain tumour as he was having what I think were fits, but they may have been heart attacks.

It meant that Mr Hard finally had to relent and become Mr Cuddly.Tried to make sure he woke from each fit being cuddled.

He had the last one on Christmas eve at about two in the morning.I cuddled him and put him on the bed while I got in.He died there, and stayed put until we got up because, what do you do with a dead cat in the early hours?

Hi Lou

I am so sorry to hear this, it was always great to hear your news about Toothbunny on here.

I lost my guinea pig a couple of weeks ago, & am still heartbroken as she was a real character like your bunny.
((((((((hugs)))))))) & here's hoping all our little lost companions are playing together over the rainbow bridge.

Oh thats so sad. Poor bunny. We use to have a pet rabbit which ran loose in the garden all the time. Every morning when we got up, he would see us and come to the patio door for a rich tea biscuit. His teeth kept growing and we regularly had to take him to the vet to get them cut. I still miss his cuteness years after he passed away.

By the edge of a woods at the foot of a hill Is a lush green meadow, where time stands still Where the friends of man and woman do run When their time on earth is over and done

For here between this world and the next Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest On this golden land they wait and they play Till the rainbow bridge they cross over one day

No more do they suffer in pain or in sadness For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness Their limbs are restored, their health renewed Their bodies have healed with strength imbued

They romp through the grass without even a care Until one day they stop and sniff at the air All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back Then all of a sudden one breaks from the pack

For just at that instant their eyes have met Together again, both person and pet So they run to each other, these friends from long past The time of their parting is over at last

The sadness they felt while they were apart Has turned into joy once more in each heart They embrace with a love that will last forever And then side by side they cross over together
