Kemp,
Shes got to go in tomorrow as well.Shes 31,so not easy to tell her what she should be doing although I try.She is at Norwich UEA ,reading the other threads this seems to happen all over the country.I hadnt realised that before.Shes been working all summer at the uni ,helping a Dr with her experiments,so I suppose this flu thing happens when students from all over get together..

How are the Kids doing? Have they recovered now from all the chesty coughs etc?
My son just rang 9.45 to say he is cooking toad in the hole and the batter does not seem to be doing well in the oven.and what could he do about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!He is cooking for the flat tonight.I think take away Pizza may be on later lol.

Jane

Jane Report 10 Oct 2008 21:56

I never thought my son would be ringing weekly to ask how to cook something! especially when he knows it is not my favourite pastime.
First one today was what kind of potatoes are best for sauteing, and best way to cook pork steaks.Second call, does he need to peel the potatoes first.Thank god they are simple questions. As long as he isn't thinking of making a Xmas cake or something!!!.They take it in turns cooking for eachother ,which I think is a great idea.

How are all your lot doing,I month on?
