i read in a paper today that labour are trying to change the law where its legal for female members of the royal family to take the crown just like the male members. apparently atm males have first chance whether they have a sister whos older than them or not. but say if prince williams first born is a girl shel automatically take the throne if this law changes. labour also want it legal for royals to marry muslims and jews. what is your view on this guys? |

Bit rich coming from a German! Now lets play guess which paper that was reported in. Could it be the "Daily Hate"? |

I doubt that it is actually 'illegal' for a royal to marry a Jew or Muslim or Hindu or whatever, however as the reigning monarch is also the head of state it means that they are Supreme Governor of the Church of England. I think that if they want to hold on to their tradition they should be allowed to, after all society in this day and age bangs on about human rights and if our head of state was of a 'minority' religion you can be sure that anti family,Brit hating Labour would be quick enough to support their request to same belief marriages only. |

And as to the Queen being German, her German line of Royalty actually comes back to British ancestory |

New Labour has systemically ruined this country - foreigners have more rights than British born. They have been busily and mostly quietly, eroding our rights and traditions - House of Lords is no longer as it was, the Lord Chancellor no longer wears ceremonial robes - they would like to get rid of the monarchy - Tony always fancied himself as a President and certainly, in my opinion, acted like it. |

Well said Chris. Nice to know that I'm not the only one in the country who thinks it. |

Would have been a nice touch if they had been permitted to marry a Catholic. |

Yes Camilla is a Catholic which was the big problem when they were young. |

I remember reading some time ago that the Queen has already given her approval for the eldest child of William to be the monarch after him, whether male or female, i.e. ignoring sex when it comes to order of succession from William's children onwards. |

I believe Camilla may be given the title Princess Consort, rather than Queen, if/when Charles becomes King. |

This is yet another "Smokescreen" to cover years of total incompetance by the Labour Government so they can totally Bankrupt our Country while ensuring they all get a jolly good welcome at the EU trough with all its perks and Fiddles, and their experience will be welcomed with open arms.**M**/:o(>. |
