I am always slightly dubious about "Beta" products, they are sent out for testing by the public before all the bugs are ironed out, and rely on the public reporting problems.

Along with the fact that it is Google and bound to be collecting yet more data, I think I will give it a miss for now.

I've been on it all afternoon now... it is definitely much quicker than IE, and so far I like it very much... it will take a bit of getting used to, but I shall probably stick with it.

Ahhhh thank you, you are my kind of geek, lololol... I thought that was to turn the page around... well it does on Picasa, lol..... I haven't tried it cos it is a bit too advanced for me.

I am busy writing up a list of all my e-mail accounts, and streamlining them...... so time consuming, but it is much quicker with this.

Penny... I still haven't got on to scrabble, lol..... every time I download that and the ecards/smilies thing, I get a problem with my pc. and end up having to nurse my pc back to health again!!

Jax, it worked though... she is quite happy with it now that I have pulled a fast one and didn't let her know I was going to dash in quickly... she tends to be a bit like that with anything new, bless her... like her mum, really!!
I haven't worked out where the refresh thingy is.. so that is a bit of a bind!

But it is definitely quicker, and I like it so far, overall.

Chrome dont have any tool bars as yet but it will have soon, but it is faster to load and run sites due to the fact each tab runs on its own bit of memory

FF is also good as well

Oh ive found something thats bugging me with this chrome thingy!

It has a spell check thing on it and when I type all me slang and my version of spelling things it puts little red wiggly lines under everything!!

Morning all :-)

I downloaded chromed onto my pc last night....not too sure about it yet but will use it from time to time and see how it goes. This morning I downloaded Firefox onto my laptop and will try that out and see which browser I prefer overall.

Must admit with the google one my menu bar/google bar disappeared which put me off a bit.

lol Steve, thanks for that... I will now go and retrieve Chrome from quarantine... it might never ever forgive me, you know!! It might start a claim for compensation for false imprisonment and user brutality!!

Then I will go and mess around with Linux on my laptop... someone *helped* me with my laptop, and now I can't do a thing with it, lol ... a friend's hubby a few months ago.... I think he might have set a firewall that I don't know about.... or at least that is what someone else has suggested.

*sighs* This is all such a puzzle, isn't it?
