Stray, was reading about hedgehogs the other day, someone in our area is rearing some babies whose mother got run over. |

They are cute wee things. My cousin used to rescue them.she had to feed the babies every few hours. she would keep them till big enough to survive on their own ie right weight etc. |

TInned cat or dog food and water is enough, although normally only sick hedgehogs are out during the day, and yes your cat can catch fleas from hedgehog but you must never put flea treatment on them. that's correct about not de-fleaing them - many moons ago when I was a child we found a litter of baby hedgehogs - we thought we'd deflea them and sadly they all died - fleas are part of their ecology apparently |
