lol Ann..... I will talk to them with daily exhortations... they wouldn't dare die, ;¬))

I will keep you updated...... they have been planted with tender loving care.... they look a bit sorry for themselves at the momet, but I would expect that.... they may not even do much until next season.... I have cit (cut, even ;¬)) all the greenery that was on them to give them a chance to put all their effort into growing strong roots rather than pretty leaves and flowers.

Right.... that is us on a mission then, lol!

Daff. He who thinks he is the expert gardener is convinced that the geraniums wont grow because I 'didn't do it right'!!!!! Please, please prove him wrong!

I am here...... Am afraid the large glass of red became two..... I did pop back on briefly... but know that brain and hands were not communicating very well, and I was seeing triple!!

Susan..... the men aren't here at the moment, they have gone away to catch their breaths....

I have another man coming back next week to build the base for my new shed....

and my builder (yep, I have one too) will be back from Greece this weekend so he will be in touch with me next week about my new back and front doors.

Now he WILL be all bronzed and Adonis-like... he likes to act like a cowbay builder with a roving eye, and is certainly very young and handsome, but has a lovely wife and imperious 9 year old daughter, both of whom he is besotted with, lol

Yep.... guilty as charged.... I do talk a lot!!

As to *working my patch* I was a Care in the Community Co-ordinator for a while, lol... if staff were off poorly I had to cover their clients, so needed to know where everyone lived.

tsk tsk..... There must be sommat about the name Ann-without-an-*e* !!

Don't be daft ladies, our Daff never goes quiet, lol - she and I talked for England and Wales when we met last September, had to stop to let others get a word in lol

Ann, glad you enjoyed yourselves and lovely that you shared your garden with Daff and sent her home with bits too.

At the mo I have some cyclamen I bought from Aberglesney Gardens, Wales, blooming in a pot, alongside some Burgundy coloured oxalis I was given by someone in Heacham when we visited earlier this year, and a bit of something else that I pinched from the garden of the cottage we stayed in, there was so much of it I knew they wouldn't miss any and it has taken well. Am reminded of my holidays each time I glance out and see the tub with them in.

Nowhere near Ann and Ann ( Daff ) Tina :-))))) ...they only go out to make me jealous.....honest they do!.......Am thinking of hooking up me caravan and parking in one of their gardens.......methinks it may be Ann of Glos's cos by all accounts it is beautiful...Daff's isn't finished yet and Ann's is........on second thoughts........Daff has the luverly landscape men in.......think I may go there instead.......see!......not as daft as I write!

Daff - when you say you worked in the community and it was your "patch" what are you saying exactly - a working girl? No wonder you have a bad back!!!

Tsk! and Huh!.....I don't care!.......I spent a lovely day talking to the wall.....twas most interesting......not envious one little bit!....who cares about going out with nice peeps and enjoying oneself and chatting and shopping and having a lovely time.....Not I!....sniff!.......

Anyone want to swap houses so's I can live in between Gloucestershire and Wales?......wherever they are.......Never heard of em meself. Sniff!
