think you are right Sue - I cannot see any way we could possibly outdo what the Chinese are putting on at the moment - absolutely fascinating

Having said that I do not think China should have got the games in the first place but too late now - shan't be watching the events, but this is too good to miss!!!

What are we going to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???
and now OUR Sarah Brightman is singing !!!!

Sue

Sue Report 8 Aug 2008 14:07

I remember the OC at Moscow which was the first really orchestrated one I can remember. The 'outdoing' factor since then has been marvellous but so costly.

Still we could have a load of hoodies performing, they would be cheap :-))

Dont worry folks!...The UK will top it.
We will provide the BIGGEST COCKUP! in Olympic History...LOL...
No one will convince me other wise.!
Its will be a DISASTER!

And we will be paying for it for the next 100years!

Boycyying it and it is killing me as i love the athletics. I do not believe China should have been allowed to host them. I know my token stand will not change a thing but it is a matter of principle.
No hard feelings for anyone else enjoying them .

BrendafromWales Report 8 Aug 2008 17:32

I agree,Ann,very spectacular, but as we hadn't seen any dragons,I thought they would have a dragon breathing the flame!.....not a Welsh Dragon of course!!!

Sue

Sue Report 8 Aug 2008 17:36

Well at £3,000 per second it should have been spectacular which it was.....
