Have you got a temperature today?

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 25 Jul 2008 09:53

Yes. I need some fresh air :-)

Sue

Sue Report 25 Jul 2008 09:56

It'll be a common illness called 'postingitis'. Don't worry it can be treated without meds.

Turn your pc off!

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 25 Jul 2008 09:58

How can I turn my PC off?

It is the source of my only contact with the outside world - I depend on it for intelectual stimulation!

There is always daytime TV!

Eldrick

Now I am concerned about your mental health :-(

A TV is a means of force feeding the general populace (during the daytime) with trivia that is guaranteed to make the great people of the UK lose the will to live.

It's all part of the government's grand plan to make savings re the ever dwindling pension pot.

You should try it for a while and see the effect it has on your mental stability!

Ah, yes, I remember now!

Anyway, I've just been speaking to my counsellor and he has prescribed a day out fishing.

So off I go ....a day on the river should get me a nice bag full of trout :-)

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 25 Jul 2008 10:22

No problem, Kitty.

I will pop a brace in a big envelope and post them to you.

I'm sure your postie will be highly amused in about 3 days time :-)

I wonder if Eldrick has managed to catch any trout on a hot day like this.........they don't usually want to take on hot days.

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 25 Jul 2008 18:17

Just got back - not that I went far, the river is only 200 yards away.

Didnt catch anything worth eating, spent more time dozing on the riverbank. Very nice as well.

But I did find some interesting tracks - an otter, a fox and a well used track of a roe buck.

I will have a look at first light tomorrow to see what he is like. If foxy is there, he's toast though.

Shower now, tea and pub.

I like finding tracks as well.................on the rare occasions we get a decent snowfall we go looking in the woods to see what animals are about.

Great fun:))

Sue

Sue Report 25 Jul 2008 18:44

Mmmmm

I bet the track to the pub is well worn!

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 25 Jul 2008 18:45

It certainly is. Very well worn indeed!
