The problem was that there was 2 really heavy downpours on the Friday and they couldn't cope with the deluge and it was running down the hillside overlooking the airfield and saturating it. Luckly enough we'd got our tents up before the rain came, but the campsite was horrendous on the Friday night. |

Parking is a bit expensive Ann thats true - I use place just round the corner from the station if I drive in - can park there all day for £7.50. There is a park and ride though - ive never used it so dont know if its free. I think something in the back of my mind says its £2.00 but I dont know where it is - I know where the bus stops - but not where you park. |

We pass the park and ride on the way in but don't ask me what road it is on, we always lose ourselves when we drive to bristol. Got a weekend booked there in November, staying at the Thistle hotel (usually use Jurys) because it has a pool and jacuzzi. going to see Blood Brothers. |
