I wrote a poem about Thomas the Tank Engine and pretended it was from my 3 year old and sent it to the Thomas Tank magazine and they published it. Doesn't say much about my poetry skills if they thought a 3 year old had written it!

Went on TOTPs audience when I was in my early twenties and at the end they put me and my two friends on a platform to dance just before credits were rolled. Also got to meet some of the performers afterwards - Sad Cafe are the only ones I remember though!

Was also in front row audience of 6 o'clock show (Michael Aspell) and for some reason they kept putting the camera on me which made me feel very self-conscious.

I walked past Diana Ross & her hubby one evening on my way home from work in the rain nr Regent Street. As we passed each other I said "Hiiiiii, how are you?" (like she was an old workmate I'd not seen in a while) and she smiled and said "Hi" in an American accent - and it was only after that exchange that I realised who I was saying hello to!! So silly! I turned around and watched them hurrying down the street and other passers-by were stopping in their tracks, staring, same as me.

I did the same thing in Pets r Us a few years ago - I joined the queue and immediately recognised the person in front of me (and my brain interpreted her to be a personal friend) - blurted out "Hi Mo, how are you?" and in that instant felt a real plonker because I suddenly realised didn't know her personally at all - she was the actress off Eastenders who plays Mo (the white haired lady). She wasn't very friendly, turned away in a huff and a staff member came over to me and said would I refrain from bothering so-and-so, blah blah blah...

I also bumped into the woman who used to play Pauline Fowler's mother on Eastenders years ago - we were both in the queue for Sarastro's restaurant and she struck up conversation with me.

Saw yet ANOTHER Eastenders actor - the chap who plays Ricky. We came out of Ikea at the same time and ended up driving along the same stretch of road, pulled up side by side at lights and I was waving and shouting "Hi Ricky" cos I couldn't remember his real name (Sid?) and he just laughed and waved back.

Have also had a few things in print over the years - a children's short story, several poems (and a poem published in the Family Tree mag and a family history yearbook).

Have been in local papers for various things since childhood - winning art comp, winning hat-making comp, cross-country running (didn't win that), lots of letters printed etc.

Wish I could say that my claim to fame was having dated Orlando Bloom/Johnny Depp/George Clooney (not all at the same time LOL) - but unfortunately, no - nothing as exciting as that!!!

Our school choir was on the Sunday morning programme First Light way back in 1997 - they put make up on our (male) music teacher and had to retake one sequence because the mugs on the table were in the wrong place!

I got interviewed last summer for a promotional video for my university - I was doing my degree show at the time and was the only person around so I had to talk about my work.

Oh, and I saw the actress who plays Janice Battersby in our local supermarket when I worked there two summers ago.

I was interviewed for the Guardian at a Blur gig. I made a REALLY cheesy comment (on purpose), the bloke took it seriously and printed it. My sister wouldn't talk to me for a week.

Saw Fatima Whitbread at Stansted airport.

Saw Jimmy Young outside the BBC in London at the above mentioned Blur gig.

Watched as my sister went over to shake some rough looking bloke's hand (again outside a Blur gig!). It was Keith Allen.

I often see Terry Waite and Ian Lavender shopping in my local Sainsbury's & Tesco's respectively.

And my favourite....

The bloke who used to play Tinky Winky (Tim Whitnall) in The Teletubbies went to school with my sisters.
