You're welcome

To sit in the shade on a fine day and look upon the verdant green hills is the most perfect refreshment.

Some more for you, Lynn. I used to do quotation threads a few years ago, but I may have deleted them; I'll check sometime.

“There is always music amongst the trees in the garden, but our hearts must be very quiet to hear it“

“See how nature - trees, flowers, grass - grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence...we need silence to be able to touch souls.”

“A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.”

Badbury Rings looks really interesting Joy must show OH as it will be somewhere new to go. He's off this weekend, so long as the weather is better than today maybe we could get down there.

Thanks Linda :o)

Joy and Lynn
Absolutely love the New forest and we get down as often as we can. Only an hours drive from home, so have taken the minded children with us over the 20 years that I have been working. Many pics of them ar the foot of huge trees and given to their parents. OH's family came from the Romsey area and my own from Winchester so hope after retirement we might get back to our "roots" !!!!

Glad to see your computer is working again, Lynn.

I understand what you mean about those trees. I love looking at the different shades of green on the leaves of trees, and seeing how trees change during the seasons.

Yesterday I posted, for you, Monday's musings ... and looking forward to Lynn's daily thoughts when her computer is better

...Just been to check the notes at the bottom of my certificate.
My trees are at Kiln Wood, Blackboys, East Sussex.

It's the Woodland Trust
They have a website I think.
