loves others besides himself. !!!

One generation plants the trees under whose cool shade
another generation takes its ease. !!!


The tree which moves some to tears of joy, is in the eyes of others, only a green thing which stands in their way. !!!


On sunday, we stood amongst the giant red cedar trees at a local country park, Its one of my favorite places to be, the beauty and calmness always takes my breath away, I feel so much at peace with the world surrounded by their elegance and strength
Call me daft, but to be in the shade of these almighty trees makes me feel humble and safe,
Have you ever smelt the scent of these trees ?, its really stunning

anyway, enough of my ramblings, its good to be back with you

Ive nudged it up for you. Summer err we had three days of good weather didnt we about a month ago? That was it lol!!

Radio is giving flood warnings :( Its damp and very overcast this morning butnot wet - at least my hanging baskets like the rain and my strawberrys are looking very plump this year - they just need some sun so they can change from Green to Red before the slugs get them lol.

There is a member on here from the other end of the country to me and lives in a small village I know well from my childhood.

There is a row of trees that are a landmark nr where she lives. She was very suprised to learn that those trees were planted by my Grandad after the war and not the local council.

Funny thing trees eh? They bring so much joy.

We share the same passion, I hug trees too, there is something reassuring about them I am just drawn to them, I am sooo glad there is someone else out there in the world that thinks the same.

Good morning Lynn and everyone...

All your tree locations sound wonderful.

When the weather is more reasonable we will travel over to Sussex to see 'my' trees.
They were a sponsored gift from grandson to mark my birthday.
There is no plaque or anything, as they like to keep the woodland as natural as possible but we have a map showing the significant location in the planted wood.

My trees are at Kiln Wood, Blackboys, East Sussex.

It's the Woodland Trust
They have a website I think.

Glad to see your computer is working again, Lynn.

I understand what you mean about those trees. I love looking at the different shades of green on the leaves of trees, and seeing how trees change during the seasons.
