am I alone in wishing that there was a separate board for game threads?.......... I mean no disrespect to the people that post on them.......(they pay their money they post where they like)......however sometimes I just feel they clutter the first page up a bit. Is it just me? xx

Sometimes threads disappear too quickly off the first page because of the 'games' posts.

only takes a second for us to flick to the second so no harm done

altho maybe a sperate board would be nice lol

i to add to some of the games

but sometimes find it hard to find them

but on the same board

it would be easy to locate the ones i like

i think that would be a good idea, sometimes i play sometimes i dont but a special board for games would be ideal

No I agree Muffy a separate board for games would be great, there are a lot of them now so could do with a separate board.

As the first person to put a word game on here (the original conga) I can only agree that there are too many on the board now clogging up the first page too often.

Its the numerous variations of one game that get on my nerves, such as the A - Z games where there are several.

I also stress there is no disrespect to the posters. And of course I know we can add other threads to neutralize the games onslaught :o))

Quite agree Muffy. I play the games but would love a seperate board for them. I find it takes away from some serious issues that people wish to express.

It also takes from the enjoymant of those who just want a bit of lighted-hearted fun and want to get away from the humdrum of everyday life.

Im not sure if the question - if you mean scrabulous can be done by PM if you mean games on gen IE quizes I think this is the right forum.

OK, a little occasional light relief is good, but what should be the main purpose of the site seems to be getting lost.

Are there not more suitable dedicated games sites?

I for one think that, that would be a very good idea,
dont get me wrong i dont dislike them but they do clutter the boards up sometimes

Oh I don't think so Brian. There's always the tips and records boards for when you've got your genealogy head on so I don't think it's lost it's purpose at all. I occassionally play the games too so there's nothing wrong in it IMO. I just think it would be nicer if they had their own board that's all.......free this one up a bit.

Maybe I'm just lazy but sometimes......and especially the last few days when I've had trouble turning pages on here......if the first page is mostly games......I tend to just trundle off elsewhere.xx

Perhaps they could be moved to the chat board?
