Yes she was absolutely right..................it's called tough love.

Sad that her family don't see it like that...............she has my sympathy.

I think she was right. Apparently they have now threatened her, so it shows how much respect they have for her.

Hi Joy and everyone,

What a wonderfully brave woman. She had me in tears when I saw her
interviewed on GMTV.

I just hope her family will eventually see that she did the right thing.

Perhaps if more of us had her courage
the world would be a better place.

Definitely yes, do wrong and take your punishment, I would do exactly the same thing.

I hope to god my children would never behave that way - but if they did, I would report them.

Do the rest of her family think they had a right to maim someone else?

If the answer to the above is yes - then she's well rid of them!!

Sounds like she is the only decent human being in that family.

If she had ignored her sons' behaviour then that would have made her as bad as them and they might have gone on and injured other poor souls.

She definitely did the right thing and I wish her well.

I am 100% behind this mother. She did the right thing. Maybe, just maybe one day her sons will thank her and realise she did them a favour, I won't hold my breath though! Thank God that's 2 more scumbags off the streets, for now!

I agree with all the comments on here. What a brave woman she is and how much must it have hurt her to do what she did?

I have witnessed first hand how a so called family can turn against you when you speak up for a wrong doing, and know what she is going through.

I am sending her my best wishes for the strength to get through these difficult days.
