How can you tell if a Parrot is male of female

That's it then he is deff male. He only talks to me and the kids tho and doesn't like O.H for some reason. Wonder why? His favourite word at the moment is "Hello" and it sounds so clear. lovely. |

Did anyone see the scene in 'Carry On Camping ' where i think it was a minor bird said something very naughty?? well my middle child is trying to teach him that, can't wait to see if he says it. it would be hilarious. |

Ahh i think he's Male then, he is very bright red and blue and i forgot to mention that he does wolf whistle at me all the time --- blushes--- Will try the web site Kitty. Generally the male in the animal and bird and insect world is much stronger in colour, Rosella would be strong with reds and blue tips and the female I think is paler with greyish green feathers. |

Hi everyone, after inheriting a beautiful Rosella Parrot a few years ago it has suddenly dawned on me that i don't know if its male or female, how do i tell??? He has been in an aviary with the other budgies but we have recently moved house, given all the budgies away and kept the parrot. He has really started to "talk" now and loves it if you chat to him. Thanks x |
