Well, had to say that, I am not going to be near St Louis lol

I will be holidaying in Heacham near Hunstanton from 31st May to 10th June so thought a meet would be good as there are a few people who live within easy travelling distance of those places.
Could someone suggest a nice place to meet up? or maybe I could do it at our holiday cottage we are renting, it is big and has a lovely garden and parking too.

I would think Saturday afternoon 7th June would be the most suitable date.
Please add names and suggestions of where to meet or pm me. Bear in mind it will be holiday changeover day but probably not that busy at that time of year.
There is the lovely Norfolk Lavender place close by too, which has a coffee shop/cafeteria too.

We're travelling up on the 7th, but will be over at Diss on the other side of the County.

Have a good time, we've been up that way a few times and there are some interesting places, particularly the old fishing villages on the coast like Brancaster Staithe.

What a shame your holiday isn't later Brian, you could have come to the Norwich meet on the 21st June!

I live in Norwich so not travelling far but only got to know the Hunny/Heacham area in 2007, been going to the N Norfolk coast more before and down Lowestoft way too. Our coast is lovely, I am very lucky to live close enough to do day trips to Cromer etc.
Anyone brave enough to meet lol?
I don't bite, altho I might talk the hind leg off a donkey lol

Grrr I cannot believe that Hunstanton is just up the road from Norwich, but I would have to get a train to Ely,then a train to Kings Lynn, then a bus to Hunny....

Pity its not Cromer, could get there! LOL

Hiya Purple! Wish I still lived in Norfolk I would have come up to meet you, used to go to Hunstanton with the kids all the time! It only took about an hour by car from where we lived then! You'll love it, hope the weather stays fine for you! Enjoy........!!

Hi Nanna-Moo, I am sure it will be lovely even if the weather isn't that good, the 'cottage' we rent is a 4 bed house in it's own garden with big gates to the drive,in Heacham, so is a lovely place to stay and lots to do in the area.
Just a change of scene is nice but if we get good weather it is a bonus, hope it is better than today lol
Will take my wellies just in case...
