	www.gro.gov.uk cost £7..00 if you have the ref number just register with them and order the certs that you need

	good idea Doc, i would Taff. What would've happened if you hadn't phoned, that's my question and I'm not saying they do, but another question springs to mind, who else has been affected, perhaps lost money. £25.00 to some is a drop in the ocean, to others it's survival.

	No, Shimmi, the records office already told me , they have many complaints from Trading standards, but BMD are not breaking the law just bending it!!

	I'd contact office of fair trade or contact Citizen's Advice Taff, doesn't sound right. Might be able to advise you over phone or you can get, think 20 mins free with Solicitor. Need any help writing letter, more than willing to help. Just so wrong.

	Taff, sorry you have been caught out. you really should not need to pay more than £7 for any certificate unless you need it priority. You can order on line from the GRO as long as you have references and it will only cost £7. Ann glos

	Shimmy, they have my e-mail addy!! and all details, but the reistrars office says they are exactly not breaking the law, because the havent actually ripped me off , just not provided the cert I ask for!!
