Cars on pavements = undercover of darkness a superglued polite notice on the windscreen asking them not to...very satisfying (or so I would think)

We have someone who owns a takeaway & constantly parks on the pavement blocking the dropped curb. All attempts to get this stopped via the police & traffic wardens have failed.

Now if the pavement is blocked, Mum goes into the takaway & the staff come out to carry Dad (who's no fly weight) & his heavy motorised wheelchair around the vehicle.

Ooooh dear! You're going to hate me for this, but where I live the road and houses were built in the 1920/30's. The road itself is narrow, literally just wide enough for 2 cars, and the pavements are very wide. Everyone here has to park half on the road, half on the pavement - but as I say the pavements are very wide - wide enough for a double buggy to get past a parked car!
So, around here we get incenced when someone (usually a non resident) parks wholely on the road, always opposite another parked car and completely stops all the traffic!

I had the same problem with a parked transit van..not only was it half parked on the pavement but close to a corner which lead onto a main bus route, this was my route to my nearest shops and it was a hazard. The van belonged to the householder so it was parked there early morning, evenings and during the weekends.
I spoke to this gentleman! who gave me a mouthful of abusive language, I in turn reported parked vehicle to the local council who in turn acted immediately...
end of story being: van no longer there but I still get the odd sneer if this gentleman! happens to see me... as if I care.
