Why do many arrogant, selfish, brain-dead morons park their cars either fully or partially on the darned pavement. ?. I've just witnessed a little old granny dithering and shaking having to step off the pavement and onto the oncoming traffic.. A young girl with a pram and two young kids having to put their lives in danger, and of course, this old fart who got as angry as hell. When ever I confront one of these 'persons' they always turn out to be built like 'Russian Fullbacks', and that's just the women !! But seriously is this 'parking skylark' legal or illegal ? In this part of the world even the police park on the pavement, so what chance has anyone got. |

I agree with you entirely on this John, Marion and Cat. I have been known to scratch the odd car when trying to squeeze past with my buggy, well I wasn't going to take my children into the busy road now was I. Makes my blood boil. |

Our police have said parking on the pavement in itself is not ilegal, causing an obstruction is and driving on the pavement is but not parking (how you get to park on the pavement without driving on it I dont know). But then the police dont make the laws the idiots in Whitehall do. But parking on pavements fade into insiginficance in my book, my gripe is folk who think the little orange twinkly things (commonly known as indicators) are there for decoration or are a 'I can park on double yellow lines providing boph are flashing simultaniously (known as hazard lights) permit and dont need to be used when intending to change direction or exit a roundabout |

Mind you Marion, there have been times when squeezing between car and wall or car and bushes, just to give the 'wing mirror' a "nudge".. But, as, Wild Cat said - "Don't get wound-up about it"... |

That's another moan Colin, trying, as a pedestrian, to work out which way the car is going to turn, no indicators so you carry on walking across, then 'whoops' - 'Nearly got ya that time mate'!!!!!! John. |
