My bro was assaulted by patient who has full use of limbs, who rained blows down on his head,gave him black eye, has been accused of assault ,is in 'solitary' in head injury unit. Couldn't/wouldn't do it (catastrophic head injury, paraplegic); never ever been violent. Bad situation.
They're saying he's dangerous yet he's on their welcome webpage, large picture of happy man with head injury, deep in thought.

Where were their 1:1 carers? My bro's ran when man assaulted bro.

He's paraplegic because of neglect by some 'wonderful' nurses; had third fall, neurologists fear that fall.

Feel powerless.

You are not responsible for what happened to youand your brother.You were the victims of someone elses behaviour or circumstances.You are there now for your brother and that is all you can do.
Just remember you do what you can do now .I was abandoned but in a totally different way.You are a tough cookie ,maybe having a blip at the mo' but you can't always be taking all on your own shoulders.
I am sure you have support from your family,take that support and take a deep breath for yourself.

Quick update

I go down, I come back like a boomerang, stronger than ever.

Sis-in-law and I have just fired off email to Care Home telling them under no circumstances is anyone to interview, speak or approach my bro without his wife (legal guardian of bro) or Case Mngr being present.

Past 5 yrs really hard, miss my bro bombing down motorway to see his sis; so glad I found you all, like big family.
