I am not a believer in seances, but I went to one just to see what they are like. The psychic was doing his thing and grinning from ear to ear. I assumed his merriment was due to the fact that he was fooling a gullible public and gave him a poke in the nose. You can probably guess the rest.

.
I was arrested for striking a happy medium

A woman goes to the local psychic in hopes of contacting her dearly departed grandmother. The psychic's eyelids begin fluttering, her voice begins warbling, her hands float up above the table, and she begins moaning. Eventually, a coherent voice emanates, saying, 'Granddaughter? Are you there?'

The customer, wide-eyed and on the edge of her seat, responds, 'Grandmother? Is that you?'

'Yes granddaughter, it's me.'

'It's really, really you, Grandmother?' the woman repeats.

'Yes, it's really me, granddaughter.'

The woman looks puzzled, 'You're sure it's you, Grandmother?'

'Yes, granddaughter, I'm sure it's me.' The woman pauses a moment, 'Grandmother, I have just one question for you.'

'Anything, my child.'

'Grandmother, when did you learn to speak English?'

Have just been looking at this site its a disapointment as for the letters was only able to view one and says they are still checking info the letter was more about the gifts taken and meal shared so all there is to go on is his word .
This site gives no evidence just words

My theory, for what its worth, is some people are able to read subtle signs and mannerisms that people do and that's why they appear to be psychic, they are just very good at reading people.
Its like people who have been together a long time, you often know what they are feeling or even what they are about to say, I often find that my husband and myself will start saying something at the same time and its almost the same thought. I wouldn't say we were psychic just in tune with each other after 40+years together.

Hi Eldrick,
i must say i have mixed feelings on this subject.

There are some programms like most haunted, that are a bit far fetched, like children telling eachother ghost stories to scare themselves.

But then again, there are other people that i think have a real gift.

I think i heard somewhere that in America, psychics work closely with the police and get good results?

Dont quote me on that though.

Hi Sally

I remember seeing one or two of the programmes. I thought it was nothing more than very lightweight entertainment, and it did a good job. I quite enjoyed watching them if I remember rightly - the participants played good parts. It was certainly interesting.

But one important point - the TV companies always stress that these programmes are for ENTERTAINMENT ONLY.

To do otherwise would be a breach of the law which forbids persons to charge fees for purported psychic purposes. Otherwise known as the Fraudulent Mediums Act 195....?
