For your first PC..? .........................................................


I think we got our first one in 2000 and for the PC monitor and scanner it cost £999.99...... and then we never used it ...lol

I have only had two pc's. The first one was given to me by my eldest Son and the One I have now was a present for my Birthday so I have no idea how much they cost. xxxx

It wasn't a pc....it was a Texas Instruments computer....it was fantastic lol

never bought me own pc lol
used me brother
hubby had one when i met him lol so i used that
and me lappy well me dad gave me so much towards it and dog put the rest haha got it last year and cost £500

This is my first...bought 2006, at about £1000 including printer, speakers etc..until then I worked for a company that if you had a PC at home thought it was quite okay to send you work to do on your days off....not a good liar so didnt have one then could say quite safely ''sorry I don't have a pc''....Don't wan to hijack your thread Hayley but what about other electrical gadgets? Our first VCR a top loading Ferguson Videostar size of a small car and £485 in 1980 something

my first colour telly for me bedroom i got when i was 6

its in my kitchen as we speak still working 23 years later the remote still works too

hijack away folks .....................gowd.......my TV and video was rented till anout 14 years ago.....cost about £500.00 I think just got a big flat screen one...that was about £300.00

Pre-taped films were so expensive I seem to remeber them being around £80............I'm getting old!

Ray...The first pre-recorded video I purchased was 'Cannon & Ball live in Concert" ( forgive me I was young and foolish ) and cost me £48 best part of a half a weeks wages

i bought my own first video in 1997 the day i got me first credit card thro haha paid £150 for it them swoped dad for the one he bought the week before coz his was a purple / blue lmao still got that an all in my bedroom lol

Built to last these days, yeah right,,,
Brought a £600 Surround sound dvd recorder
3 years ago, yep warranty just run out
took it for repair,,,,,hey they dont make
this model any more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
