Dizzi...for her positive attitude and good nature.

Uggers...because he is never afraid to say what he thinks but always manages to put his point across with intelligence and a degree of tolerance that I can not always manage! .

There are so many who I have seen on these boards over two years , that I have respected for a variety of reasons.

It is, I think, the strength of those who have dealt with illness and grief that will stay in our minds long after we have left GR.

So nice to chat to someone who remembers you.

It would be easier and much quicker to list those who still havent earnt my respect but theres only a couple - the rest of the people on here have my respect even if I don't always agree with them

I have only met Muffy a few times and she is absolutely lovely, down to earth, and hilarious and we are on the same wave length and we have lots of interests that we share. As well as having as good a taste in stuff as me.lol

Tony I met recently and he was everything I expected, funny, charming and a fab listener and very clever and intelligent.It was really good to meet him.

I would love to meet Ann and Colin 2 people I greatly admire for their honesty and sound advice-there like my cyber mum and dad lol-

Puss who I have met so many many times, she can be firery and I have had to say many a time hey sis-calm down-but her and specky have become such good friends and I feel like I have known them all my life.

I respect a lot of people on here,ones who say it as it is,down to earth.
There are a lot of lovely people on here ;))

We should all be allowed our own opinion's on thing's and allowed to voice them.
Cant be bothered with the odd few who think...they know best all the time.

I respect most people on here but dont like the arrogance that is displayed sometimes.

I respect quite a few on the boards and unfortunately am disappointed with quite a few too.

I respect Angie coz she is always there to talk to no matter what upset is going on in her life and she always stays calm.

I have to say though that Rambling rose and Ann in Glouc I have a great respect for, they stay cool in most situations and are the voices of reason.

Dizzi will always have my respect - regardless of her PD she still shows a warm and compassionate side which we caould all learn from
CarolB and Julie for their strength and courage

and many more for their honesty and the way they stand up and say what they want - Carol Paine, Colin staffs, Joy(AKA Maid Marion) and Jude and Lesley for the way they stand independantly and state publicly what they believe.

Gwynne for her intelligence

Joy for her compassion for others

Woody & Polly for their loyalty and dignity in the way that they compose themselves,

Caz for her serenity

Uggers for his honesty and wit

Catherine for her openness and ability to talk to all

and there are many others who although I have not named them here, their names and unique qualities are racing through my head. I have not forgotten them and they are no less important :-)

and the Oscar goes to....

My respect goes to those that suffer and still shine through with humour. Some mentioned others quiet

To those that make me laugh, humour is to be respected.
To those who understand when I am quiet and why ( I thankyou and respect you for the patience you show ) .

it is a difficult one Uzzi lol...some that had my respect for their courage are sadly no longer with us,

some have left as their membership expired...

Just wanted to agree with you Uzzi.

Can I just add Jen who bravely makes us aware of SADS and SIDS (hope I've got those right) She's a real inspiration.

I respect all those who suffer with illness and still smile
I respect all those who have lost loved ones but come on here to support others
I respect all those who stand up and speak their minds (even though I might think their views are totally bull***t - at least they have the conviction to state their views)
I respect all those who try and offer comfort and words of advice
I respect all those who are simply here day after day and night after night ready to chat to people who may not have seen anyone all day
I respect all those who make me laugh, make me cry and yes even make me angry -as that makes the old grey matter work
Those I don't respect are few and far between but I dislike arrogance, and the personal attacks that a very small number of people resort to...
