Just can't believe what a small world it is! Someone I work with, her hub was in same home as me in Hornchurch, she went to same Secondary - years later! Oh and when moved here, my hairdresser trained with my ex-foster sister-in-law, another ... Shani!

Mel, been so priviledged - an auntie and uncle who are like my mum and dad (known them 38yrs) live in the Mumbles, South Wales on the Gower. 15 beautiful beaches, can see yachts on harbour from their front window. They're the people I saw Uk with, Scotland, Wales, Portsmouth, Derby,York - you name it, we visited. Also took me to Paris, bless.
He'll be 89 on May 1.

Yours sounds so picturesque. x

I lived in Grange Road, Ilford then moved to Barley Lane, Goodmayes. (Was in care, moved all over) - left '69 for Poplar, then '70 to Harpenden. Really panicked, thought it would be mud huts, had never heard of it - it wasn't thank goodness!

Gosh Mel, we're going back in time now! London Zoo's changed so much, used to love it then.

Anyone remember Battersea Fun Fair? Used to go with my dad and little bro.
