She will be having a triple heart by pass operation.. She also has chronic emphysema, so an added risk. She has to have this operation, as she had six stents, put in her arteries last year, after suffering a heart attack. These too are blocking over.

We are all so worried for her, so please keep her in mind next week. Many thanks, wendy (Dovaston) xxx

Wendy--docs wouldn't be wasting theatre time if they wern't pretty confident about a positive outcome,look after the arm wounds .

You will be surprised how well she will be after the op. Anaesthetics are so much better these days. As you have been told, the chest wound does not hurt unless you cough, but the arm wound will want watching. When she comes home,you will need to have a cushion handy in the car to put under the seatbelt,in front of her chest as the pull when you brake or stop can be painful. OMG I forgot the cushion !!--She'll need one to press onto her chest when she needs to cough-not too wide but well padded -and cheerful,something new to her to brighten the day xxx
