There are a couple of deaths which could be her.

There is a william Gregory who is a widower in the 1851 census.

Isnt it a pain when our ancestors do everything in between the census, then disappear just when you need them. Most inconsiderate!....would love to get hold of the PRs to see what it has there.....tis annoying me Tsk!....will go and see if I can buy some....wont cost much and a good reason to drag out my fiche reader for a dusting.

Am also thinking of writing some PR gems so another good excuse :-))))

I had not seen those no. But I did find that a Thomas Allen (and it may be Abraham's brother, married an Ellen. I found this some time back when i sent for a death cert for an Ellen Allen and it was the wrong one. then I looked at Ellen Allens in Derbyshire yesterday on the IGI and there are quite a few so a common name which is even more frustrating. (I prefer my Aquila Clapshoe not too many of them!!!

I got a bit confused with your post about Gregory/Ellen/Abraham.

Is there something i should check there or did you rescind the lot? Sorry probably being a bit dense here.

I have looked at Ellen Gregory and Ellen rogers on the 1851 but can't find one that would fit.
